FRAME OFF RESTORATION was done in 2005 using 1979 factory red color.
Repainted again in 2014. A NEW GM ZZ383 CRATE ENGINE was installed along with a JASPER REMANUFACTURED TH350 TRANSMISSION. Restored truck has about 3,000 miles on it.
During restoration, new; doors, fenders, inner fenders and hood were installed instead of working out all the minor dents. All other parts were stripped down, primed, cut in and painted. The frame, axles, fuel tanks, and engine bay components were also stripped and painted. Also installed were new factory looking wheels and trim rings, new chrome trim, new grille and emblems, seat upholstery and new dash pad and OEM gauge cluster. The engine has aluminum pulleys, edelbrock intake, edelbrock carb, Na. HEl distributor and electric fans.
In 2017 a new radiator was installed, alen front and rear 3:73 pinion gears, front and rear differential bearing kits, high stall torque converter, front drive shaft slip yoke, new seals for the transfer case, rebuilt/adjust transfer case assembly. THE COST OF THAT WORK ALONE WAS $4,000.
There is also a new classic looking but modem stereo and speakers yet beinted act adhedet with the truck.
The truck has always been garaged. The underside of the truck is as clean as the top.
